The Commercial Property Rehab & Preservation Program (CPRPP) offers grants for facade renovations, signage, and other exterior building improvements.

Commercial Property Rehabilitation & Preservation Grant Program

The Commercial Property Rehabilitation & Preservation Grant Program, also called the Façade Grant Program, offers a partial reimbursement to building and/or business owners to upgrade the facades of commercial property in Oak Park and for business signage.  The primary missions of the program include: to support rehabilitation and preservation of commercial property; encourage new business; and retain, revitalize, and expand existing businesses in Oak Park.

Grants of 25-50% of the cost of pre-approved eligible exterior work are available, to a maximum grant of $25,000 per project.   Eligible projects range from full façade renovations to simple outdoor signage and lighting improvements.

This is a partner program with the Village of Oak Park, and a committee of both Village and OPDC staff reviews each application.
